Hi. Eragon is a really awesome book by Christopher Paolini. It's about a boy named Eragon who finds a stone that turns out to be a dragon egg. I won't say anymore for fear of giving away to much of the plot line. The book is way way way better than the movie, so if you've seen the movie you should definitely read the book. If you haven't seen the movie, you should definitely read the book anyway.

blergh...I thought it was way too descriptive. The only reason why I want to read the next book is because of the storyline. The writing stinks...sorry Christopher.
And - this is so unfair- his PARENTS published the book. I mean, COME ON!
No wonder the book is so thick, no one probable edited it except for commas and fullstops.
But Saphira is awesome XD.
I agree about the descriptions - far too long, but the plot is fantastic. It's what keeps the pages turning regardless of the long descriptions.
